The Fab List honoree Iyonna Woods and her husband Dr. Ashanti Woods hosted their annual New Year’s event — “The Good Life” — by celebrating philanthropists and community leaders at their historic estate in the heart of Baltimore’s Lake Ashburton Reservoir community.
Upon entering The Woods Estate, guests were greeted with passed hors d’oeuvres from Karen’s Kitchen, a dessert bar with cupcakes courtesy of Brown Sugar Pastries, and the opportunity to spend “Woods Cash” at the craps, roulette, and poker tables.
The Woods also took a moment to honor those who continuously give back to the Baltimore community with Certificates of Recognition from Mayor Rawlings-Blake.
DJ B.A. began to get the party started at around 11 p.m. by spinning all of the latest hits as well as some old school Baltimore club music that got many natives excited as they danced the night away.
Attendees included Councilman Nick Mosby and his wife Marilyn Mosby, Maryland House of Delegates nominee Antonio Hayes, Chezia T. Cager, Arli Lima, Zeke of Trix & Zeke, Fashion Was Here’s Taliah Ferguson, rapper Caddy Da Don and many more.
