Recap: Break The Internet Fest & 202 Creates Gives A Scholarship To Deserving D.C. Student

Thousands came out this past weekend for the three day line up of Break The Internet Fest in partnership with D.M.V Events and a host of others. The weekend which celebrated Howard University’s homecoming included performances from Cardi B., 21 Savage, Money Bagg Yo & several local D.C. artist.


The concert and festival series, curated in 2016 celebrates young millennial culture.  Break The Internet Fest merges the importance of education with live music entertainment and offers financial aid for college students.

This year Break The Internet Fest organizers and 202 Creates partnered together to give a scholarship to a deserving D.C. resident and college student. This years winner was Ashley Bridges, who is currently a graduate student at George Washington University obtaining a masters in Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance.
