Fashionistas can hear from great influencers in fashion at Noteworthy: An inside look at the changing scene of fashion in Boston at Boston Magazine (300 Massachusetts Ave) 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Joelle founder of I Am Kreyol will be speaking as one of the panelists.  This event is open to the public.

Daniel Beaty’s I Dream – I DREAM takes place at The Paramount Theater (559 Washington St, Theater District) 6:00 p.m. he I Dream: Boston 2017 Culminating Performance will feature devised original works created and performed by the I Dream: Boston participants. Boston City Councillor and Mayoral Candidate Tito Jackson is once again opening his home 37 Schuyler St, Dorchester to visitors starting at 1:00 p.m. for his annual Tito’s Turkey Fry Block Party. There will be vegetarian friendly items as well. DJ, games for the kids, and an all around good time. This event is family-friendly, free and open to the public.

Come join The CLLCTV for Fun and Games at The Boston Common. They’ve invited 4 teams made of up members of establishments such as Bodega and Parlor Sports to be challengers in a rousing game of Kickball. Come and cheer the teams on and enjoy the outdoors on the unofficial first weekend of summer. Free and open to the public. 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Boston’s Mother Daughter Gala will take place at Carson Place (180 Mount Vernon St, Boston) from 6:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. This will be a night for mother and daughter(s) to enjoy a night full of dancing, laughs, food, and lots of fun! Grown Folks can help out the Young Folks at the #GrownFolks II event taking place at Make Shift Boston (549 Columbus Ave, Roxbury) starting at 6:00 p.m. The event benefits the Youth Organizers Fellowship that provides a weekly open mic for youth. This is a 21+ event with a DJ and spoken word by several artists. $8.00 on-line and $10.00 at the door. All proceeds will go to funding their programs. Get your tickets here.

The Wave Boston monthly party is here with its Memorial Day Weekend edition at Middlesex Lounge (315 Massachusetts ave, Cambridge).
