For the 3rd year running organizers Brenda N. Sanders and Naijha Wright brought Vegan SoulFest to Baltimore City Community College. The festival promotes a healthy lifestyle through veganism and hosts over 50 vendors that sell clothing, food, natural cosmetic products and more.
The free outdoor festival was full of positive vibes with sets by local artists like Buddah Bass and Poet Deep. Inside, there were additional vendors as well as food demonstrations from presenteres like Chef Zoe and Chef Jahari.
Baltimore State Attorney General Marilyn Mosby and husband Baltimore City Councilman Nick Mosby were also in attendance to show their support of the festival.

Some of my favorite vendors were Sweet Tea & Cornbread who had some serious tea infusions. As for entrees go the most got in a lengthy line for Vegan Refocused crispy “chikn” nuggets. The macaroni and cheese was on point too and has been voted the best vegan mac and cheese in Baltimore. Although both of these were great, the clear taste bud winner for the day was Micha’s Sorbet. I don’t know what was in that stuff, but it had people going back until they had to go back to their shop and restock. I tried the kiwi and the strawberry combination. Wow. It had just enough sweetness, and the flavor was so on point!
In addition to the great food, it was just wonderful to see so many people out to support a healthy lifestyle like veganism. I highly recommend you put it on your calendars for next year!
