Sakerum (2204 14th Street NW), a Latin-influenced sushi bar, welcomed more than 150 guests last night to celebrate their grand opening.
Owner Stephanos Andreou and wife/partner Constandina
Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres, including signature sushi rolls and Latin bites while sipping cocktails such as frozen slushies and sake and rum-based libations during the invite-only celebration.
If you’ve never been inside Sakerum, then you’re in for a treat. The space is a nice blend of Asian and Latin cultures thanks to whimsical art, found objects and gilded bird cages. It also features a retractable rooftop on the second floor perfect for private dining.
Check out Sakerum and when you stop by, tell them The Fab Empire sent you!
