David Banner Is Not Feeling Ozios, Says ‘#ShutItDown’

Lord only knows what happened to David Banner while the rapper stopped into D.C. this weekend to promote his latest project, “The God Box.” But it looks like he didn’t have a very good experience at one our beloved lounges — Ozio DC (1813 M Street NW).

The rapper took to every single social network he had to encourage people not to patronize the restaurant.

“Club Ozio in #WashingtonDC I hope that you treat the people of the city better than what I experienced last night. If not #shutitdown,” he wrote on Twitter Sunday afternoon.

David added on Instagram, “If we spend our money with you then treat our people right.”

There’s still no word exactly what happened or didn’t happen inside the club, but he did elaborate more on Twitter.

“I hope to represent my people with grace, style and respect. “But” I’m a grown Man. There is a point where I must protect ‘My’ honor first,” he wrote. “What happen to me is not important. It is my feeling though that it may be common practice. If so, that is the bigger problem. If not…”
