QuestloveTuesday, April 19

Learn about the jazz history of Roxbury on a walking tour with Discover Roxbury. Meet at Northeastern Crossing (1175 Tremont St). The tour lasts from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. RSVP to let them know you are coming. Space is Limited.

Chariot for Women is rolling out the red carpet for special guests, community leaders, and members of the press to join them for a pre-launch party celebrating the first-ever ride-sharing service for women, by women at the Vanderbilt Kitchen (105 Water St) 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. The event is free and open to the public. DJ Questlove performs at The Sinclair (52 Church St, Cambridge) 8:00 pm doors open. Tickets are currently sold out, but you never know! $20 in advanced and $25 the day of the show.

Trivia Night with Pops & Dre returns to Dudley Cafe (15 Warren St, Roxbury) 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.  The full cafe menu with beer, wine, and sake cocktails will be available. No cover.

Were Gonna DieWednesday, April 20

The theatrical performance of We’re Gonna Die starring Obehi Janice opens tonight at Oberon (2 Arrow St, Cambridge). The show begins at 7:30 p.m. with tickets starting at $15.00. If you miss the show tonight, it runs through April 29th. Get your tickets here.

Mix and mingle at the #LiteWorkAfterWork Luxury Edition at BOND Lounge inside the Langham Hotel (250 Franklin St) this event kicks off their weekend of events. No cover, but be sure to RSVP.

Go to The Middle East (472 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge) for The Kings Court Tour: A Tribute to J.Dilla which features  Slum Village, Black Milk, Guilty Simpson and Phat Kat. Tickets start at $16.00 and can be purchased here. This is an 18+ show.

Share some Vibes+Art at Bella Luna (284 Armory St, Jamaica Plain) starting at 9:00 p.m. for a networking fundraiser for Peace Boston. There will be live music, spoken word artists, authors, fashion designers performers and more! Tickets are $10.00 will all proceeds going to Peace Boston. This is a 21+ event.

Urban LeagueFriday, April 22

Tonight is the Urban League of Eastern Masschusetts 24th Annual Awards Gala at the Boston Park Plaza (50 Park Plaza) 6:00 p.m. ULEM is going to honor several great community leaders while fundraising for our agency’s day-to-day needs.
