The women of Vega Vitality have created a business that combines beauty and wellness with medicine.

The founders are cardiologist Stephanie Moore, MD of Mass General and RN Ashley Hilmes also from Mass General. The women saw a need to fill in the gap of where medicine meets wellness and took a leap of faith to open in a building that looks directly over Copley Square.

They recently held a blogger event that included a welcoming spread that introduced us to the serene space which had upwards of seven treatment rooms which include spaces for yoga, pilates, massage, facial and hair growth, consultations, eyelash extensions and semi-permanent brow makeup.

Each treatment room hosts a wellness professionals that brings their unique talents to the business. These include more well know treatments such as yoga, plates and facials, to more “out there” procedures like reiki  and even the recently popular vampire facials – no leeches though.

One of the more unique treatments that stood out for me was the work of Mila of brow muse who has a specialized technique of creating semi-permanent eyebrows that can last up to seven weeks without needing a retouch. Find out more about her service here.

The bloggers were sent home with goodies bags that included hint water, a stress ball, intellishade makeup samples, taza chocolate, elite lash eyeliner and gift certificates for return visits.
