Watch Spike Lee’s Chiraq at the Dudley Cafe’s (15 Warren St, Roxbury) at 7:00 pm for first of the month movie night which is free and open to the public. There will be a discussion following the screening. The full cafe menu will be available for purchase.
Tuesday, March 8th
The National Black Women’s Society and other great organizations like the AAUW and The Mayor’s Office are providing a Salary Negotiation Workshop at Bruce C. Bolling Municipal Building (2300 Washington Street, Roxbury) 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. You’ll get tips on how to get the pay that you deserve. This event is free and open to women. Learn about women’s sexual health at A Current Affair at Hibernian Hall (184 Dudley St, Roxbury) 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. You’ll hear from many prominent speakes while enjoying a complimentary dinner. The event is free, but you’ll need to RSVP here.
Get Lifted at the Haley House Cafe (12 Dade St, Roxbury) 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Special guests include, Marsha Auguste, L.U.C.C.I and Hope Inc.

The 4th Annual Got Peace basketball tournament takes place at the Reggie Lewis Center (1350 Tremont St, Roxbury) 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. There will be activities for the whole family including face painting, games and arts and crafts in addition to basketball.
