Baltimore Artist Maurice Scarlett Shines During New York Fashion Week

It was a sight to be seen at New York Fashion Week during the 2016 Presentation of Pyer Moss‘ Fall Collection.

The line, which consisted of outerwear, printed sweatshirts and windowpane coats came with a message of depression and mental stability.

Pyer Moss creative director, Kerby Jean-Raymond partnered with Erykah Badu as well as Baltimore Artist Maurice Scarlett to convey messages like: “You don’t have any friends in LA,” “My Demons Won Today, I’m sorry” and buttons that declared “Acid,” “Booze,” “LSD,” and “Molly.”

Pyer Moss, Erykah Badu and Maurice Scarlett have received critical acclaim world wide for the collection.
