The great folks at Door 2 the Outdoors invite you to spend an evening with author and adventurer James E. Mills author of The Adventure Gap: Changing the Face of the Outdoors which chronicles the first-ever all African-American summit attempt on Alaska’s Mt. Denali.
You can meet Mills and have your books signed at More Than Words Book Store (242 East Berkeley St) 2nd Floor 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
The event is FREE, but let them know you are coming here!
His visit is in part to promote his book and the Roxbury International Film Festival’s opening night film that visually chronicles the journey with An American Ascent. Mills will be in the audience along with the directors George Potter and Andy Adkins on opening night Wednesday, June 17th. The film begins at 7:00pm and tickets are $12.00 for non-museum members.
