After postponing several shows thanks to Chris Brown‘s legal issues, the “Between the Sheets Tour” is now running through a city near you, and Breezy along with Trey Songz hit up the Verizon Center last night.
The show started with
Tyga but he gets no love here, R&B vet Trey, who performed a set of his hits before he was nicely ushered off stage by Breezy. It was nice seeing the two singers showing off very different skills — Trey, the sexy crooner, and Breezy, the all around entertainer.
Along with dance hits such as “Bottoms Up,” “Can’t Help But Wait” and “I Invented Sex,” Trey also slowed it down in a sort of “battle” with Breezy to perform his slow jams, “Neighbors Know My Name” and “Love Faces.” Trey even took his shirt off when he closed his show, which, you know, no one complained about.
Then Breezy came back out to perform more of his hits (I mean, he has a ton!) such as “Look At Me Now,” “New Flame,” “Fine China” and of course “Loyal.” He closed the show by bringing out Tyga to perform their latest hit, “Ayo.”
I had no idea that song was such a big hit, but the crowd was going crazy. My friend said, “You’ve never heard that song in the club?” Um, no, but I can dig it.
Shout out to my friend Aaron Camper, who backed up Breezy with the vocals.
Afterward, Trey partied it up in the club that shall remain nameless with Fab Award winner DJ Quicksilva.
