United Sisters of Color invite you to Cocktails Cupcakes and Conversation discuss mental health among black women in a safe supportive environment at Vlora Restaurant (545 Boylston St). Starting at 6:30pm. Cash bar.

Join the Future Boston Alliance for RAW Mixx at featuring Zouljah Art by Q at MiniBar  (51 Huntington Avenue) 7:00pm – 11:00pm. No cover, but get tickets here, so they know to expect you.

Boston Unplugged Live Music Benefit Series presents Lifted hosted by Matt Parker x Jelani Lynch at Savvor (180 Lincoln St, Leather District) 8:00pm – 12:00am. Featuring Aisling Peartree w / Live Band along with special Guests Covey, David Altenor, Maggie Leon and more. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased in advanced here. 100% Procceds will be donated to Dream Builders Youth Project / Jeremiah Burke High School. Ticket donation will also grant you access to the Red Carpet Donna Summer Mural Viewing & Tribute Concert on June 13th.

Tamar Braxton performs at the Paradise Rock Club (967 Commonwealth Ave, Brighton) tonight. Show starts at 7:00pm. Tickets are $25.00. (Though on the Ticketmaster website it says they are $33.00) At any rate you can try and get them here! This is an all ages show.

Producer/Rapper Bun B and Termanology are teaming up to put on a show at The Middle East (472 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge) Show starts at 8:00pm. Tickets are $20.00 in advanced and $25.00 the day of the show. The show is 18+ and you can pick up your tickets here.

Once again the domestic violence prevention organization Love Life Now is having their Annual Heel-A-Thon for Penelope’s Place Shelter at the Oscar F Raymond School (125 Oak St, Brockton) at 10:00am get your comfiest pair of pumps, heels, wedges, stilettos ready (NOT MANDATORY…and MEN ARE WELCOME) to walk a short distance  to support the South Shore shelter. Afterwards there will be  Zumba & Self Defense demos, snacks, games for kids, music and more! (you can change out of your heels for that!) $30.00 for adults. $10.00 for students.
