It was a fabulous night this past Friday evening as Baltimore’s elite gathered at the Broomcorn Building (1407 Fleet Street) for the annual SHADE event, which benefited YouthWorks. YouthWorks is Baltimore City’s summer jobs program, which places young people age 14 to 21 in six-week summer work experiences throughout Baltimore.
The event was sponsored by Coors, MFMRK, LME, Uptown Magazine, Miller, Riverside Health and Dusse and featured a Grey Goose open bar and delicious goodies to snack on throughout the evening.
Our favorite part of the evening was watching Kelley Richards, widow of Blue Flame & Ciroc Ambassador Gary Richards hand out the Courage Award to the deserving fellas over at Mission Tix.
When the ceremony was over, guests enjoyed dancing the night away thanks to the sounds of the extremely talented D.J. Lil’ Mic who had everyone dancing including Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, who we spotted doing the percolator!
It was a great evening for all. Kudos to Philanthropik and everyone involved.
