Finding a hidden gem in Baltimore is one of my absolute favorite things and that’s what happened this past Saturday when I walked into The Inn At Black Olive (803 S. Caroline St.).
Presented by Sonje’ Productions, George Ray Agency and Moses Inc. the afternoon featured an exclusive Vevue Clicquot tasting with delicious horderves atop of the beautiful roof at The Inn At Black Olive. Attendees also enjoyed cigars while listening to the sounds of D.J. Charity.
My favorite part of the evening came when Reliable Church-Hill’s Camille Clifford and Sonjay DeCaires spoke on the history of Veuve Cliquot. The now extremely popular champagne was turned into a house hold name in the early 1800’s by Barbe Nicole Clicquot-Ponsardin. As the first woman to take over a champagne house she curated the company to be what it is today. Cheers to Women Power!
It was an absolutely perfect evening. Thanks for having us Sonjay and George!
