Operation Prom Dress & Tuxedo is having their final donation at Mattapan Branch Library (1350 Blue Hill Ave.) 2:00pm – 4:00pm. The organization was created to ensure no Boston area junior or senior is denied the opportunity to attend their prom because of financial difficulties. At this donation,  they are are only accepting accessories:  necklaces, bracelets, earrings, clutch/purses, bras (strapless, convertible, backless, halter top), evening shoes, gently worn or new and modern, ties/bow ties, black evening socks (to be worn with shoes), vests, pocket squares, men evening shoes.

As a global hub facing new surges of innovation, Boston is currently re-thinking what it’s creative industries mean to the city. To better reflect these changes and demands, the 1st annual Talk Back Boston Forum and Expo will be held Saturday, April 5th from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center (1350 Tremont St, Roxbury).The discussion and showcase will focus on the creative economy and creating more access to entrepreneurship. Panelists to include:  Mayor Martin J.
