Jägermeister launched a new spice liqueur Tuesday night in New York City at the Refinery Hotel Rooftop, which provided a perfect view of the city.
Whether outside on the patio, where the Empire State Building (lit up in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month) loomed over, or inside listening to the sounds of DJ Questlove, attendees enjoyed specialty Jägermeister cocktails such as the “Jägermeister Spice,” which is just the cinnamon and vanilla liqueur served neat; the “Jägermeister Spice and Cola;” the “Spiced Manhattan,” which is the liqueur with vermouth, bitters and a lemon twist and my favorite, the “Jägermeister Spice & Cranberry 2.0,” which had the liqueur, cranberry, fresh orange juice and bitters.
Guests also enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres such as conch fritters, beef and chicken tacos along with meatballs.
Along with Refinery’s rustic atmosphere, which was perfect for the brand, Questlove was super impressive last night. I mean, it’s Questlove so I didn’t expect anything less but the guy’s repertoire is extensive. He played a Baltimore Club song that NO ONE would know outside of my native of Charm City, “Dance My Pain Away” and mixed it with an EDM track and then mixed that into Madonna or some ish. It was perfection. Bravo!
The night ended with a sweet treat as a Wafels & Dinges truck provided dessert for leaving guests. I opted for a waffle topped with vanilla ice cream and the specialty Jägermeister sauce. Yum-my!
Thanks Lizzie from Waggener Edstrom for the invite!
