You’re Invited: The MFA’s Race and Rocks Discussion

Catalyst for the MFA’s audience development committe invite you to Race and Rocks – their next installment of Mixed Taste: Tag-team lectures on unrelated topics. The event will take place on Wednesday, December 5th at the MFA’s (465 Huntington Ave) Remis Auditorium at 7 pm

The idea is – What happens when two leading thinkers in completely unrelated fields of expertise share a podium for a night of lively discussion? Your questions and insights will help both speakers and the rest of the audience piece together the unrelated topics. Unexpected relationships and comic connections may arise!

This discussion will be lead by Callie Crossley, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award-winning television host, and host/moderator of WGBH’s daily radio show, Boston Public Radio presents her view on the contemporary black experience.

Yvonne Markowitz, Rita J. Kaplan and Susan B. Kaplan Curator of Jewelry at the MFA, discusses stones, precious and otherwise.

Refreshments will be provided after the conversation.

Tickets are $10 for MFA members, seniors, and students. $13 for non-members.For more information or to purchase tickets visit here!
