- Temple Fitness Personal Training and Life FX Training, two Baltimore-based, fitness and personal training gyms, will host Fit to Fight, a fitness boot camp fundraiser event on Sunday, October 28. The event will be held at Oregon Ridge Park from 8AM- 11AM. The cost to register is $20. Proceeds will benefit the American Breast Cancer Foundation. - LotusFlyy Inc will be hosting our 2nd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Happy Hour this Thursday, October 25th from 5-8pm at Jimmy’s Famous Seafood (6526 Holabird Avenue). Proceeds this year go to the Brenda Carol Walters Scholarship AND Baltimore’s Hope Lodge through the American Cancer Society.They will be raising money through a Raffle, The Lotus Files book sales and accepting donations. - MERDJ.com and Judah’s Juke Joint presents the 3rd Annual “HIP HOP IN PINK” Ladies Night Special Edition taken place Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 930pm-2am at Now Child Soundstage (409 E. Preston St) This year’s theme is about urging women to become aware of their bodies at early age. The event will feature some of the freshest female entertainers to help support October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Presented by MERDJ.com and partnering regional hip hop venue Judah’s Juke Joint, HIP HOP IN PINK will feature R&B/Pop songstress Shadina, Si-Notes, Tt The Artist, Voice, The real B-FLY, and X-Factor alum/singer-songwriter Reina Williams. The event will also include a hot all female hip hop cipher featuring Scarlett, Muvi, Jaydee, Anni Boo and Finesse The Best. Hosted by, Magic 95.9’s Civ Jones and 92Q Rap Attack’s DJ AngelBaby the night will be a celebration of women’s health and wellness. Vendors and Information tables will include tons of info and resources for women’s health. Total Health Care representatives will also be there scheduling physical appointments for those in attendance. General admission is $5.00 and asking for a love offering of your choice to be donated to the American Cancer Society to help fight the disease with breast cancer research, information, services and access to mammograms for women who need them.
