Elle Varner came to Washington D.C. to headline WKYS 93.9’s second “Hip Hop and R&B Live” performance at Howard Theatre in the U Street corridor. With her signature head of curls, sans glasses, Elle took the stage.
The crowd was already warmed up thanks to Sterling Simms and DC’s own Tabi Bonney.
Elle belted out songs from her debut album “Perfectly Imperfect,” including “I Don’t Care,” “Leaf,” and of course her hit single “Refill,” which by the way is my favorite song since it was on her mixtape.
