The Ultimate Ciroc Summer Cocktail Competition went down this week on the rooftop of the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court (550 Light Street). The competition presented by Ciroc and Baltimore Magazine, invited ten local bartenders to create cocktails using a variety of Ciroc vodkas. Proceeds from the event benefited the Ulman Cancer Fund For Young Adults.
The participating bartenders were each given 10 minutes to create their Ciroc drink for the judges that included Jess Bloomberg of Baltimore Magazine, Brendan Dorr of B&O Brasserie, Ulman Fund President and CEO Brock Yesto and Reliable Churchill representative Don Davolio. Attendees included Baltimore socialites, tastemakers and industry insiders.
Bartender Trevor Ifill of the Four Seasons Splash Pool Bar and Grill (200 International Drive) made the winning cocktail, Tamarind-Ginger Tea. Ifill described the drink as “an international fusion of the African tamarind spice, hints of ginger, agave nectar, and Ciroc.” Yummm! The Ulman Fund received $3,000 after the ciroc cocktail competiton was completed.
It was a fabulous night, for a great cause!
