Lupe Fiasco is hot on the promo trail and stopped in Washington, D.C. to push his latest album Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album, Part 1, set to hit stores on September 25.
The Direct Drive Record Pool, run by Shawn Caesar, Scottie B and Greg Baker, brought Lupe out in front of Washington media and music types last week at Ultra Bar. The record pool was hosted by DJ Quicksilva of WKYS and Jay Claxton of WERQ.
