I’m so ready for this long weekend, how about you?! There’s lots to do and our best picks are below:
Friday
Get your party on at Mirage (401 Baltimore) for the last Friday Night Light party with Trix and Zeke. If you’re a college undergraduate or recent graduate this is the crowd for you.
If you’re looking to party with the 25 and up tonight try Eden’s Lounge ( 15 W. Eager Street) with Inkwell and DJ P. Chris or Milan (1000 Eastern Ave) Friday’s with DeJuan D Hov Events Team.
Saturday
With a high of 90 degrees on Saturday cooling off should be a priority! Take the family to the Oregon Ridge Beach in Hunt Valley opens for the season. . Admission on a holiday weekend is $8 for adults (age 12+) and $4 for children 12 and under. (You can also get a season pass!) The beach will be open all weekend from 10am-6 or 7pm. The water closes 1/2 hour before the beach does. There are more details on the Baltimore County Government site.
If you’re looking to have some fun and the sun without the kiddies head on over to the Tiki Barge (500 Harborview) for cheap drinks and a swim.
DeJuan D Hov, Trix and Zeke and others team up for the weekly Day Party at Red Maple (930 N. Charles) Memorial Day style.
Sunday
Sowebo Arts & Music Festival is Sunday, May 27 12-9pm. Live music on four stages, art show, kids’ activities, and more. Admission is FREE! More details are on their website. Sowebo is held near Historic Hollins Market in the 1100 Block of Hollins St in Downtown Baltimore.
Monday
Fort McHenry in Downtown Baltimore is open all weekend, and on Monday from 10am-4:30pm they have a special observance for Memorial Day. The flags will be raised at full mast at noon, there is a National Moment of Silence at 3pm, plus information about the history of Memorial Day.
