On Sunday night, Meek Mill tore down the stage at “Kicks for Kids,” a charity concert that raised over $5,000 (meaning 500 pairs of kicks) for children in need. The culmination concert took place at the 9:30 Club with performances by Harmony Musik, Mz Sasha, Pro’Verb, Lyriciss, Uptown XO, Kingpen Slim, Gods’illa, the Black Alley Band and many more!
The new kicks will be donated to children at the Children’s National Medical Center and the National Children’s Center, which serves the Washington, D.C. area.
And if you missed it, check out our interview with Meek where he denies that Maybach Music Group has anything to do with declining Maybach sales, his plans for a mixtape with labelmate Wale and if he feels pressure to create a classic album.
