Friday, July 29th
Tonight, the Urban Leauge hosts a concert with Eric Benet and Ledesi at the Bank of America Pavillion (290 Northern Avenue) Show begins at 8:30pm – You must be registered for the conference to attend.
106 & Park presents their Closer to My Dreams Tour featuring Mindless Behavior, Lil’ Twist, Jawan Harris, Trevante, Diggy Simmons and Tyga at the House of Blues (15 Lansdowne St) Tickets are $20.00 and the show starts at 7:00pm.
Saturday, July 30th
Most of the Urban League National Convention events at The Boston Convention Center (415 Summer St) will be FREE and open to the public. The highlighted events are the Small Business Matters: Entrepreneurship Summit in Room 254 AB 8:00am – 5:30pm alongside the Career Fair from 11am – 4:30pm. Not to mention all of the wonderful vendors and sponsored events – there’s something for the entire family! For complete information visit their website!
The Roxbury International Film Festival will present two films we highlighted – beyond Measures Productions “The Last Shot” at Mass Art (621 Huntington Ave) at 6:30pm and “Desert Flower” as a part of their Dinner and a Movie selection at Haley House (12 Dade St, Roxbury) at 7:30pm. Comedian Lavell Crawford will perform at the Wilbur Theater (274 Tremont St, Theater District). The show begins at 7:00pm. Tickets are $25.00 – $35.00 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
The roaming party of 30+ heads to Dante’s Lounge in the Royal Sonesta Hotel (40 Edwin Lane Blvd, Cambridge) to celebrate party host Marvin’s birthday! Entrance fee is $25.00. You don’t have to RSVP, but this event is sure to reach capacity to get there early!
Sunday, July 31st
R&B Star Tank performs at Showcase LIVE! (23 Patriot Place, Foxboro) with Noel Gourdin opening. Tickets are $20.00 in advanced $25.00 at the door. Tickets can be purchased here!
Detox Sundays presents the Tank Official Afterparty at The Greatest Bar (262 Friend St, North Station) starting at 10pm. Tank will be there! Music by DJ Playtime and DJ Mark Da Spot. Tickets are $15.00 in advanced.
