Witness guitarist Bombino perform live at the Brighton Music Hall (158 Brighton Ave) Hailing from Agadez, a desert in Niger, Bombino is considered one of Africa’s most renown guitarist. The Boston Branch of the NAACP invites you to join them at their Centennial Mixer, as we celebrate 100 years of Civil Rights advocacy and usher in a new movement and generation of leaders. This event is also a fundraiser, and all the proceeds will help to send ten (10) Boston Branch NAACP members (delegates) to Los Angeles, California for the NAACP National Convention, July 23 – 28, 2011. The event will take place at Mantra (52 Temple Pl, Downtown Crossing) with DJ Val Beatz from 5:30pm – 9:30pm. Tickets are $15.00 – $20.00 and can be purchased here!
