It looks like spring is officially here, though I don’t want to jinx us, we have several ways to “Find Your Fab!” from making yourself sick at the Scooper Bowl (all for a good cause) Academy Award Winning Singer Natalie Cole., and laugh with Red Grant..it’s all here!
● The 29th Annual Boston Scooper Bowl continues until Friday with all-you-can-eat ice cream fundraiser to support The Jimmy Fund cancer research and treatment at the Dana Farber Institute. Come out and sample Häagen-Dazs, Baskin-Robbins, Edy’s, and Ben and Jerry’s’ newest flavors! Tickets are 8$ for adults (ages 10+), 4$ for children (3-9) and free children under 3. This ice-cream affair will run from the 7th to Thursday the 9th at City Hall Plaza from noon to 8p.m. For the ultimate ice cream fan – purchase the $15 Scooper Pass, which allows 3 entrances into the festivities!
● Enjoy a night of good music and cool vibes at the Milky Way Lounge (284 Armory Street, Boston MA 02130) in honor of the late reggae legend Gregory Isaacs. Hear some of his classics including, “Night Nurse” and “Rumors”. This FREE event starts at 9 p.m.
● Have you checked out the newly built Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Uphams Corner? If not, today is the perfect opportunity to see Dorchester’s newest development as the NAACP Boston Branch hosts Racial Discrimination Training at the Kroc Center (650 Dudley St, Dorchester) This training will answer questions regarding discrimination victimization as well as legal concerns that many Boston residents face.
