Bravo Cancels “Real Housewives of D.C.”

We knew it was bad…but we didn’t think it was that bad! RadarOnline.com reports that the fifth installment of Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchise failed in the ratings so they’ve scrapped the show.

“The show just didn’t do well and it wasn’t worth airing another season,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.

“The DC housewives were meant to be starting shooting their second season now and they haven’t heard a peep from Bravo.

“No one from the cast has been contacted yet and told that the show is cancelled.”

The online ‘zine also reports that Andy Cohen, Bravo’s front man and vice president of programming, said there will be no new “Real Housewives” cities. Bravo is also rumored to scrap “Real Housewives of Miami,” another installment of the franchise that is losing in the ratings.
