The Pultzer Prize Winning Theatrical Drama Ruined has come to the Boston University Theater by way of the Huntington Theater Company with tickets open to the public. The show runs January 7th - Feburary 6th
Lynn Nottage’s Ruined tells the story of Mama Nadi, a bar and brothel owner in the war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo, and the brutalized women who seek refuge from her — including the “ruined” Sophie, the victim of a savage attack by soldiers. Nottage traveled to Africa to research the play, which has also won numerous Obies - Goldstar.com
