Artscape, Wale, Dru Hill and More This Weekend

I know, I know it seems like EVERYONE, is in Miami this weekend, but don’t worry there’s still tons of stuff to get into. Check out our rundown below for this weekends hottest picks:

Friday

Artscape kicks off tonight with a live performance by Musiq Soulchild at 8:30 p.m. Artscape features 150+ artists, fashion designers and craftspeople; visual art exhibits on and off-site, including exhibitions, outdoor sculpture, art cars, photography and the Janet & Walter Sondheim Prize. Events 4 Good People presents Mile High on the Terrace (316 Guilford Ave). No cover and open bar 8-9 p.m.. And lots of free food. Sounds like a plan!:)

Saturday

DeJuan D Hov and his team present Unforgettable at Edens Lounge (15 W. Eager). Everyone free before 10 p.m..

The Artscape after party is going down at Velvet Rope (200 E. Redwood). DJ Tanz, Nitro, and Reddz will be playing the hits.

Sunday

DMV’s own Wale will be taking the stage at Artscape. He’s scheduled to perform live at 6:30 p.m.

The Women 2 Women’s launch party kicks off at the Oakland Manor Mansion (5430 Vantage Point Road).¬†From business startup and inclusion, health and wellness, childcare and parenting, to relationships, domestic violence, social issues and religion, Women 2 Women 4 Women provides an ongoing working resource directory to help stabilize and empower our female community. Events 4 Good People and The Flywire present: Trois 3rd Sunday at Red Maple (930 N. Charles St.). Open bar from 10:30-11 p.m. so get there early.
