Alicia of YBWS
The women of the YBWS (Young Black Women’s Society) Celebrated 5 Years of empowering women of color to a packed Rudi”s Resto Café.
The evening included a motivating speech by City Councillor Ayanna Pressley who is also on the advisory committee for the group, one of the group founders Alicia gave a heart felt speech about her experiences and Chip Greenidge and also gave his remarks on the women’s accomplishments. As well as information tables from the Boys and Girls Club, Spelman College Alumni Chapter and Partners in Health, a portion of the proceeds went to Earthquake Releif in Haiti
