A three-day holiday is approaching with the upcoming Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. We can’t forget all of the accomplishments MLK has done for race relations in America especially in regards to African-American’s civil rights.
To honor his achievements, The Kennedy Center (2700 F Street, NW) and Georgetown University will host a concert featuring Grammy-award winning India Arie. The concert also features the Let Freedom Ring Choir with Music Director, Rev. Nolan Williams Jr. and Mistress of Ceremonies Andrea Roane.
Note: Free tickets will be given away two (2) per person in line in the Hall of Nations at 10 a.m. on Mon., Jan. 18 on a first-come, first-served basis.
