I’m so mad I missed this! One of my favorites Chris Gardner was seen all over Baltimore this weekend signing books and at a speaking engagement. He made a stop at Barnes & Nobles (601 E. Pratt), Baltimore Book Festival, John Hopkins University, and Bethel AME Church (1300 Druid Hill Avenue) where Frank Reid is the pastor.
Gardner shared with his audiences the keys to self-empowerment, and the message of beating the odds and breaking cycles. In 2009, his presentation has been enhanced to include much of the pragmatic wisdom featured in his second book Start Where You Are.
