Well the winners have been announced. StreamingFaith presents its 2008 Awards & Honors to the most inspirational and outstanding members of the faith community.
Partner ministries and leaders were nominated by StreamingFaith.com viewers, while online voting took place during the month of December.
Receiving the most coveted award is Bishop Joseph W. Walker, III, Senior Pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Nashville, Tennessee; he was voted the 2008 Most Inspirational Person (MIP) Award.
“2008 was such a time for change that we at Streaming Faith welcome the opportunity to award these outstanding ministries for the work they are doing in local, national and international communities. Each day we are encouraged by their commitment to spreading the Gospel and inspired by the impact they are having on the lives of millions,” stated Chance Mason, President of Streaming Faith.
At the conclusion of each year, a panel of Streaming Faith viewers come together to compile a list of leaders and ministries that have displayed exceptional characteristics that not only inspire, but also empower, encourage, and enlighten. Streaming Faith honors some of the world’s most influential leaders and ministries by recognizing them in six (6) various categories which includes Up and Coming Broadcaster, a ministry whom just joined the Streaming Faith family within the last year; Best “Live” Broadcast; Best Radio Broadcast; Best Video On Demand Broadcast; Network of the Year; and finally the most coveted, Most Inspirational Person Award (MIP).
The prestigious Most Inspirational Person honor is awarded to the broadcaster whose leadership has deeply impacted the hearts and lives of our viewers. This person is not only charismatic, but has an innate ability to encourage, inspire, and empower those he/she encounters.
Other 2008 honorees include:
- Up and Coming Broadcaster of the Year: Pastor Otis Moss – Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois.
- 24-hr Network of the Year: Ever Increasing Faith Network – Crenshaw Christian Center, Los Angeles, California, with Pastor Dr. Frederick K.C. Price.
- Best Live Broadcast: Lighthouse Full Life Center Church, with Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Marvin Sapp, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
- Best Video On- Demand Broadcast: Bishop Jeff Poole at New Hope International in Warner Robins, Georgia.
- Best Radio Broadcast: Dr. Jamal Bryant’s Power Radio in association with the Empowerment Temple, in Baltimore, Maryland.
